Although this text is not about constitutional law, you may want to look briefly at some of the issues that Roe v. Wade raises. Do laws against abortion violate the separation of church and state? Should courts or legislatures decide about abortion? Is there a right of privacy including the right to abort? Skip the constitutional issues and continue.

Remember that to say that Roe was rightly or wrongly decided is not to say that abortion is good or bad social policy. Nor is it to say that states ought to allow or forbid abortion. Indeed, some critics of Roe are in favor of a woman's right to abort, but as a matter to be decided by state legislatures rather than courts.
