Is a Fetus a Person?

The same question arises with the fetus of six or seven months. Is it a person or only a potential person? Some who deny the personhood of the embryo will allow that a fetus of this age is a person. What do you think? And, most of all, why?

  1. The fetus of 6 or 7 months is a person.
  2. The fetus of 6 or 7 months is only a potential person.
  3. The personhood of the fetus cannot be decided.
