I have lots of friends at my church and their greatest fear is that if ethical relativism is correct, then "anything goes."

I wonder about that myself. If science can't help us and conceptual analysis can't help us and theology can't help us, then it seems that relativism has no legs to stand on. Hitler is just as "valid" as Gandhi. That scares people.
