• You are completely ignoring private property rights, which you usually support.

• Laws against racial discrimination in hiring are unnecessary. They may be politically expedient, but they have little to do with hiring practices. The fact is that private employers, by and large, are economically rational. Once the state is no longer interfering with their decisions, private employers will be glad to hire black employees when they have the right skills for the job. To think that an employer who wants to make a good profit will hire a white bozo rather than a competent black applicant is ridiculous. A few might do so, but they will get killed in the competition.
