I
can think of some variations on our definition, and I think we should
be willing to consider them when they are relevant.
- Ethical relativism states that there can be cases in which two
conflicting ethical judgments are either both true or (if moral
judgments are not the sort of thing that can be true or false) are
equally well supported or unsupported.
- Ethical relativism states that there can be cases in which two
conflicting ethical principles can be true or (if ethical
principles are not the sort of thing that can be true or false)
are equally well supported or unsupported.
