Ayesha asked what it means to say that one moral system is superior to another. I want to add another question about meaning:
  • What does it mean to say that values are 'objective'?

And then I want to throw this in after we decide what 'objective' means:

  • Does the existence of many different moral codes around the world imply anything about whether there are objective values?

I'm raising this question because I have a suspicion that after we define objective values, it will turn out that the fact of diversity implies nothing about whether there are any such values.
