Blacks and Jews are in very different situations. I would agree that there is no moral obligation to compensate Jews today for injustice done, say, 75 years ago. I say that for two reasons:

First of all, judging by average family income, the effects of that injustice seem to be gone. But that's not true with blacks, who have only about 2/3 of the average U. S. household income.

Secondly, Jews have an excellent position in several professions --law, medicine, and college teaching. There are well-off blacks, but their hold on the better jobs is not well established. And blacks are still wildly underrepresented in those jobs. We have a long way to go.
