Your theory of rights places too much emphasis on private property and not enough on the other resources that people need in order to carry out any kind of a life plan or simply to live a decent life.

As a social democrat, I believe that property rights are important, but I also believe they must be limited by a right to fair shares of economic goods.

If we institute individual rights to protect the autonomy of individuals, we have to provide them with more than liberty and property rights. We should also institute a right to a modest share of economic goods because there is no effective autonomy without those goods.
