What's a FAIR share of economic goods? Like most social democrats you like to talk about material things as if they fall from the sky. Something like that may be true for natural resources, but not for anything else. Houses and cars and clothes and ice cream exist because somebody made them. Somebody set up a plant, bought the tools, hired the people, and so on.

How can you possibly talk about valuable things as if they just exist and we must now decide how to distribute them? The people who bear the costs and burdens of making them have rights to them. It's what THEY want to do with them that counts, not what other people (who didn't make them) decide.
