Your principle is flawed because it makes no distinction between the public and private sectors.

No one denies that black Americans have been unjustly treated in many ways, but I think you're making a mistake if you mix the acts of government with the acts of private employers.

Private employers have the right to treat people in ways that our government should not because of its Constitution. If you disagree, then we have to go back to fundamentals and talk about individual liberty, property rights, privacy, the proper role of government, and so on.
