This kind of inconsistency in the extreme liberal position on racial discrimination is painfully obvious.

In 1945 a black man named Sweatt was refused admission to the University of Texas Law School because of a law that allowed only whites to attend. The Supreme Court later held that the law violated Sweatt's constitutional rights. In 1971 a white man named DeFunis was rejected by the University of Washington Law School even though his test scores were such that if he had been black he would have been admitted. The same thing happened with Allan Bakke.

How can liberals support Sweatt and oppose DeFunis and Bakke?
