If you emphasize the mother's right to control her body, be sure to address some of the questions that arise:

Does a woman's right to control her body include the right to refuse to breast feed her infant even though it will die as a result? Why or why not? Does a woman's right to control her body include the right to take a drug that will cause great pain to the fetus? Or one that will cause it to be severely retarded? (Assume that the mother does not need the drug for any medical reason.) Why or why not?

If you answer "no" to any of these questions, be sure to make your answers consistent with your overall position on abortion.
