That's a very risky course of action. Governments have created
vast public school systems in which they have taught the values
they wanted their citizens to espouse. Sometimes that includes tolerance
and a modest patriotism. But it has also involved militarism,
racism, and imperialism. Public schools and massive armed forces
(in which men may be forced to enlist) have given governments
the chance to mold attitudes and values to their own ends.
Do you really want to take that risk? Setting all philosophical
questions about legitimacy aside, you're putting yourself on a
very slippery slope here.
