You're right that we have very few black professors. But you're not right about the consequences. You are suggesting, without saying it, that the policy of academic freedom allows a lot of white professors to run around spouting racism. You know as well as I do that that is not the case.

The reality is that the professors who address racial issues on this campus are overwhelmingly liberal. Devin is the exception, and he's viewed as a nut case. To take his case and talk about it as if it were typical is highly misleading.
