I am not against some sort of self-ownership. But I don't see how you can make the transition from self-ownership to the ownership of natural resources like land or water or minerals. That's just hocus-pocus. Hand waving.

Even Nozick admitted that it wasn't at all clear how the transition would work. Why don't people who mix their labor with a natural resource simply lose their labor? That's what happens when they mix their labor with the ocean, isn't it?
