Since Ayesha has had the courage to bring up her religion, let me add something based on my own faith.

I believe that human beings were created in the image of God. If you guys could get beyond your secular point of view for just a minute, you might see that that is one of the most powerful ideas in all human history.

It is precisely because we are all created in God's image that we have enormous intrinsic value. And it is to protect that value that we establish individual rights. That value is the basis and the rationale for our rights.
