on. I like your conclusion, but if you are claiming that science can
tell us what's relevant to questions of justice, I'm not so sure.
If you don't mind my saying so, Ann, your position is typical
philosophical modernism. In your case, you're so in love with science that you think
it can answer all our ethical questions. That's typical modernism
because it makes claims to objective knowledge that turn out to be
false.
We can't find the foundations of ethics in science. When are we
going to learn that?
