Property Rights

The Lockean Proviso is a way of getting at the fundamental assumption -- and I would say the fundamental flaw -- in Dee's argument.

Maybe we do all have some sort of strong property right in ourselves. I'm not at all sure what that would imply, but let's say it's true.

There's a larger problem, and that is that none of us can do much without natural resources. It's the property rights to the earth's natural resources that constitute the difficulty for libertarians.

How are they going to justify one person taking over resources and preventing others from using them? I don't see how.
