Libertarianism does allow for more than one value. Yes, it restricts the state to the role of protecting freedom. But it allows individuals to have whatever ultimate
value or values they
choose within a framework of individual rights.
For example, libertarians do recognize that satisfying human needs is valuable and important. They encourage people to be generous and charitable to others who are in need. There is no conflict here. We only put forward freedom as the ultimate value for the state to protect. And, yes, we define justice as the protection of that freedom.
