It's easy to talk about positive rights, maintaining the conditions in which people can flourish, placing more emphasis on responsibilities, and limiting individual rights by considering the common good.

What does all that come down to? It means that someone's freedom is restricted in order that someone else can have the means to do something. Someone is coerced into doing something they don't want to do. Someone is used for the sake of someone else.

Once you start to act in this way, it's a slippery slope. Do we really want to start adding responsibilities and limiting freedom because someone believes the common good has been harmed? There's no limit to that sort of thing.
