I've talked with quite a few people, including
everyone in
this class and people in the anthropology department. Here's the list of
possible implications I came up with. You'll notice that there is a
big emphasis on cross-cultural items because of the anthropology
people.
- Ethical relativism implies a high degree of tolerance for other
moral views - especially in other cultures.
- Ethical relativism implies that we should not judge or criticize other cultures
using our moral standards.
- Ethical relativism implies that we should take a hands-off
approach to other cultures. We shouldn't interfere with their ways
of living.
