The idea that black people (or women, for that matter) have a special point of view doesn't fit the opinion polls we have on ordinary people either.

On matters closely connected with race, blacks are more likely to be liberal than whites. But on lots of other issues, black Americans think a lot like white Americans. In some cases, they are a bit more conservative.

Many blacks are conservative Christians. Many are pro-life. Many believe we should be tougher on crime, and so on. I just don't think you can make the empirical case for a special black point of view on life or politics or economics.
