Keep in mind, however, that some critics make moral objections to the more moderate policies. Assume, for example, that any form of discrimination on the basis of race or color is morally wrong. If that is true, then perhaps special recruitment efforts or training programs for blacks are as unjust as preferential hiring programs. That question is not discussed here, but you might want to consider it. Can you think of a relevant difference between training and hiring?
