Abortion Rights And Wrongs

Final Thoughts

All of these positions can be well argued and should be taken seriously. Furthermore, we must be open to the possibility that conceptual analysis combined with the moral judgments we can agree on cannot yield an answer to this difficult and complex question. In that case, we must also consider what should be done when we do not know which principles to apply or how to apply them.

It is in our power to act consistently, logically, and compassionately. It is far less clear that we can always act with certainty.

Each of us must consider what we think to be right after study and reflection. Then, perhaps, we should consider whether we may be mistaken. In any case, we must make a choice. What do you think?
