you all for coming back for another session. Yes, thank you
very much, indeed.
In our last session we tried to lay out the theory of justice
advanced by John Rawls in his very influential work A Theory of
Justice. It's a complicated theory, but I think you did a good job
of clarifying the essentials.
We did not criticize Rawls in the last session, we only tried to describe his
views. I asked everyone to hold off on criticism until now. Today
I would like you to state your main criticisms of Rawls. I know there are lots of things that could be said. But let's try to be brief so that we can get on to talking about alternative theories.
